Description of Services Provided:
The Coach Travel Group was contracted to deliver large-scale Park & Ride transport operations for the LIV Golf UK Series at JCB Golf & Country Club, supporting the movement of high volumes of spectators between off-site parking locations and the tournament venue.
Over a 15-day operational period, the Group deployed 154 coaches across multiple Park & Ride sites, operated through a coordinated network of regional operators including Swans Travel, Coatham Coaches, and JH Coaches. The operation required detailed planning, high-frequency shuttle scheduling, and effective queue and passenger flow management to maintain efficient service during peak periods.
The Coach Travel Group provided full end-to-end service delivery, including vehicle scheduling, route planning, and on-site operational management. Real-time fleet tracking was implemented using Samsara telematics, enabling continuous performance monitoring and live communication between drivers, control teams, and site supervisors.
The operation was delivered in close coordination with event control, police, and traffic management stakeholders, ensuring safe and controlled access to the venue and minimal congestion across surrounding road networks. Dedicated on-site supervisors maintained operational oversight and ensured rapid response to any emerging issues.
A fleet of PSVAR-compliant, Euro VI low-emission vehicles was deployed, supporting the event’s sustainability objectives. Telematics data was used to monitor performance, optimise routes, and capture CO₂ emissions data for reporting purposes.
The integrated delivery model enabled consistent service standards, efficient resource sharing, and strong local resilience across all sites. High-frequency shuttle services ensured minimal waiting times, averaging under seven minutes, delivering a positive and seamless customer experience.
The operation was delivered safely, on schedule, and in full compliance with Health & Safety, PSVAR, and Working Time Regulations. The successful delivery demonstrates The Coach Travel Group’s capability to manage large-scale, high-frequency transport operations involving significant passenger volumes, multi-site coordination, and real-time operational control, directly comparable to the requirements of UEFA EURO 2028.
